• Free enterprise and individual initiative have brought this Nation opportunity and prosperity.

• The proper role of government is to provide only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs least.

• Americans must retain the core principles of our founders that have made us strong while continuing to develop new and innovative ideas to meet new challenges.

• Preserving our national heritage and pride in our country while working to support peace, freedom, human rights, and American ideals throughout the world.
